Where The Heck Is China?
Read this article, U.S. Cites Signs of Korean Preparations for Nuclear Test, take a close look at the map that accompanies it, and then ask yourself why China is putting up with this nuclear nonsense. Is China really going to let Kim test a nuke right on it's own border?

I do not pretend to be an expert on China but it is possible that they are doing exactly what we want them to be doing.
China has a very different culture than us and it may be very hard for us to act publicly together (when was the last joint Chinese/American operation, either military or diplomatic.)
They may be doing behind the scenes activity that we need. America has to be involved in the solution to that mess over there and we may never know the role of the Chinese as they are even less public than we are.
I think it is very important that they have a role though.

You may be right. However, since China has the power to bring this whole mess to a halt immediately if they see fit to do so, the fact that they haven't seen fit to do so makes me wonder what the heck they are thinking about.
