Yep...adapt or die. We always tend to see things from the perspective of looking backwards. Of course we -- as a species -- deserve to get smacked on the back of the head by a flying iguana when we do that. Why should we be so self-centered as to think that the world shouldn't change since that would make things different for us? Sheesh....
