Bush to the Right: She's OK. She's Born Again!

I had promised myself to leave the Miers nomination alone for a while, but then I read this in Terry Neal's "Talking Points" Column:

"A Republican strategist involved in the front lines of the battle for the Miers nomination, . . . said the White House plans to regain the upper hand by focusing on the nominee's conversion to evangelical Christianity. "

Sometimes I just can't believe the things that come out of these peoples' mouths.
